What's in my clutch? Night out essentials ♡

Getting ready for a night out is stressful enough without adding to it the hectic rush at the end trying to piece together what you need to bring in your clutch bag. I've compiled a list of what I carry in my clutch bag to try and give you some tips to make getting ready a whole lot easier ♡

Kissable Lips
I feel a good coloured lipstick is just what's needed to really add the finishing touches to a look. Whether you're a risky red, vibrant pink, or juicy orange type girl, work it! Lipsticks don't have to be expensive, nor do they have to be a dramatic colour, but it is important to add some colour and moisture to your lips, however small it may be. It's also handy to throw in your handbag to reapply in the bathroom during your freshen up session. My favourite lipstick to use is Kiko number 79, it's a nice pale orange colour which is perfect for a fun, summer look!

You're making me blush
Blush is another handy piece of makeup to carry in your clutch bag. Blush automatically makes your skin look fresh and younger, giving you an instant glow! Blush is also one of the 1st pieces of your makeup to fade off your face as it is usually the last to be applied, therefore it's very handy to keep in your handbag. Just pop to the ladies room and come back a refreshed woman! I prefer cream blushes when I go out as I find them easy to reapply in the bathroom and feel they last longer, my favourite is Macs Brit Wit Blushcreme ♡

Brush away flyaways
It's one of the most obvious yet most forgotten objects needed in a girls clutch bag; a hair brush. No matter what type of hair you have; long, straight, short, curly, etc.. we all need to be prepared for those wet, windy nights that can destroy a girls beautifully done up hair in an instant. I like to carry one of those handy push up brushes that you can easily pick up in Penneys or elsewhere for cheap (2-3€). They're so handy to just throw in your clutch and your good to go. Bad hair day resolved in an instant ♡

Your breath smells mint
Ever in the bathroom on a night out and get asked 'do you have a mint/chewing gum?', I've done it myself a few times. Another must have in your bag is a pack of breath mints or chewing gum. It's perfect for getting rid of that stale drink taste and smell in your mouth, and comes in handy for those of you hoping to do more than just chat with that one you admire! There's nothing more in appealing than bad breath. My favourite chewing gum to carry in my clutch is the green Extra one ♡

Conceal those blemishes
Another must have in my clutch is concelor, I cannot leave the house without it. Everyone has certain areas of their face that their foundation just does not stay on, mine is my nose and chin. So concelor is perfect for a quick touch up of the face while in the bathroom. It's also perfect for popping under your eyes if your eye makeup begins to run as it prevents it from running any further and makes it look a whole lot better. My favourite concelor to bring with me is Collection 17 Hide Away in the colour medium, which can be purchased at any drugstore costing about 4-5€ ♡

Spritz spritz, smells good
Another item I find that's a must is a small bottle of perfume or spray. It's so handy to have as it instantly makes you feel good as you spritz yourself just before you finish freshening up and ready to dance the night away. My favourite perfume to carry is the miniature bottles you can purchase in a set from any Victoria's Secret store ♡

Other essentials include money, keys, hair grips (bobby pins) and age card, but hopefully they're already obvious :)

I hope this blogpost has made life that little bit easier for you with regard what to bring with you on a night out. If you've any tips to share with me please comment below and let me know ♡

Love,
Lorna xxxxx
